Tours, talks, hunts and the Saturday night auction
Saturday carried most of the major activities, from training tours and talks to token hunts, stake your claim, the memorial trophy presentation, raffle and auction.
Morning

Breakfast by the Carisbrook Lions Club, Calories Blah and Mellow Coffee Creations coffee van, with registration at the Registration Gazebo.

Three-hour tour. Maximum of 8 trainees. Bookings essential. $60.00.

Token Hunt 1
Meet at the tree in the centre of the courtyard or at the marked token hunt wait-here sign. Coil size limited to 14 inches or less.

Talk by geologist Andrew Bales in the Recreation Room.

Detecting for Dummies and guest speakers
Peter from Lucky Strike ran Detecting for Dummies, followed by guest speaker Brenton Shannon and Darren Kamp from Lucky Strike speaking on The 7 Secrets of Prospecting for Gold.

Second token hunt from the courtyard tree or marked wait-here sign, with the same 14-inch coil limit.

Stake Your Claim
Held at the volleyball area. Claims were bought at the Merchandise Gazebo on Saturday for $10 each.

Jim Stewart Memorial Trophy presentation
Presentation by Robyn Stewart.
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Raffle draw
Drawing of the raffle.
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Spit roast dinner
Put on by the Carisbrook Lions Club. $15 per child, $22 per adult. Calories Blah also offered a kids menu and separate Thai meals.
7:30 pm onwards
Auction
Saturday night auction. Card facilities were available for big ticket items only, with payment and pickup at the front office and no cheques accepted.
Sunday 8 October
Final sessions, winners and close
Sunday carried breakfast, the final training tour, another token hunt, a PMAV chat, lunch, winner announcements, the final raffle and the close of the Bash.
